Allegro is a digital receipt program devised as part of the Shad Cup challenge.
The challenge was to develop a product or service that would allow Canadians to live big on a small footprint. Allegro was the culmination of countless hours of work; it would seek to deprecate the use of paper receipts by providing a solution that allows consumers to easily and instantly obtain, filter, sort, and access receipts in the cloud.
A landing page and panel prototype (now inaccessible) were developed, the latter of which received the 3rd place prize for Best Prototype at the nationwide Shad Cup awards ceremony. Throughout the course of the development of Allegro, best efforts were undertaken to ensure maximum feasibility. Unfortunately, lacking the adequate resources to build an actual company out of Allegro, development never progressed beyond the planning stages.
